My New Health Ritual

Let’s talk about the vitamins that honestly have become a ritual in my life, their name is quite fitting. As a pharmacy student, I always take a more in depth look at supplements before I take them and I have to be honest with you guys I have never been more blown away. Ritual was kind enough to send me a complimentary bottle to try and I am never looking back. Remembering to take my vitamins everyday or even staying stocked up on vitamins has always been a struggle of mine and a struggle I am sure a lot of us can relate to, but Ritual truly changes the game. I look forward to taking my minty fresh vitamins in the morning and getting them shipped to my doorstep is so convenient.

When I got my box and opened it up this quote was staring me in the face: That caffeine optional, glow-getting, every-hour-is gold-hour feeling. I never thought that I would agree with that quote as much as I do now. You all know I love my coffee, but I was finding that when I woke up and took my Ritual vitamins, especially on the weekends, I would almost forget to make a cup coffee! I didn’t feel like I was struggling to feel functional without coffee, I honestly just felt good!

Besides that glow-getting feeling I have with these vitamins, I want to talk about something very important to me as a pharmacy student and someone who is dedicated to bettering not only my health but others health as well; which is the actual ingredients Ritual contains. Ritual vitamins are soy-free, gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan AND sugar free…not only is this great for women who have allergies or women who are living a vegan lifestyle, but most importantly it means these vitamins contain everything you need and nothing that you don’t. Speaking of not containing ingredients we don’t need, Ritual focuses on only 9 essential nutrients that women are most commonly deficient in. They leave out vitamins like vitamin C, which chances are you aren’t deficient in, if you were you’d have scurvy. On the other hand it’s easy to assume that by eating a balanced diet you will get your recommended daily values of all your vitamins/minerals but it is estimated that less than 5% of Americans get everything they need from their diet alone.

They are the most transparent company I have ever seen, they tell you where these vitamins are sourced from and explain the importance of the chemical forms they are using. Ritual has it perfected down to every detail, even their delayed released capsule that helps ensure maximum absorption of these nutrients. That also means that I can take them on an empty stomach in the morning without feeling nauseas. Also, notice how Ritual contains omega-3? Well there aren’t any fishy burps awaiting you, their omega-3 is sourced from algae, making it vegan friendly and easy on our stomachs.

Ritual’s website breaks down all the science and evidence based medicine behind their product in a way that allows anyone to understand it fully, but they also provide all the hardcore science and studies pharmacy nerds like me enjoy reading. Ritual is a product that I recommend to any woman looking to supplement their diet, I personally take them every morning and other women in my family do as well. Shortly after starting my complimentary bottle I signed up for my subscription because they were that amazing and you can too! Sign up for Ritual vitamins with the link below!
