Residency/fellowship applications are stressful enough without all the pressure to make sure your submitted written material is in pristine condition, fully aligned and elegant with no grammatical errors. Trust me I get it, been there done that. I am beyond thankful to my preceptors who helped me back then and to my momma who literally used to edit Dartmouth medical journals for a living, can we say #blessed? I know we aren’t all handed a personal editor like I was, so I put together a CV template that is editor approved! This template is an exact copy of the style and flow of my CV when submitting applications for my PGY1 residency. I still use the exact same template today with a few tweaks, if you’re applying for a PGY2 residency or a job early in your career check out my other CV template designed for those further along in their career (“Pharmacist” CV Template).
This template is in the form of a Word Document. If you prefer to use Google Docs, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will send you a link to the Google Doc version within 24 hours. You may choose to upload the Word Document into Google Docs yourself if you choose but this is not recommended as unintentional changes can occur.
Make sure to view the attached CV Tip Sheet for all my advice & tips for perfecting your CV! If you encounter any issues with viewing your downloads, please email me at email@example.com.
